One of Manitoba's most experience brokers, Mike Ducharme has been advising insurance clients for
almost 30 years.
Eldest son of the company founder, Gerry Ducharme, Mike has been actively involved with Ducharme
Agencies Ltd. since 1983. He has served in all capacities in the business, from sorting mail to filing
to client support and production. Mike assumed management functions for Ducharme Agencies Ltd. in 1996.
Licenced in 1984, Michael finished first in his class and returned to Ducharme Agencies to support clients.
He continued as a customer service representative while completing his business school at Red River Community
College graduating in 1998.
Michael has achieved two significant professional designations: Canadian Accredited Insurance Brokers
(CAIB, 1994) and Canadian Certified Insurance Broker (CCIB, 2001).
Mike continues to contribute to the community that has given so much to the Ducharme family and served as
a trustee with Louis Riel School Division from 2002-2009.
He is married to Bei and has two sons, Christopher and Alphonse.
